- The Stars are keen to be involved with the local community:
- Players attended, and took part in, Street Sports events organised by Oxford City Council. The project uses hockey and ice skating as foundations to provide constructive and organised leisure activities for local youths.
- We have enjoyed visits to the games by several local Scouting Groups.
- We provide complimentary tickets to our home games for Helen House and Douglas House and looking forward to continuing this during the 2007-2008 season.
- We work with ROSY (Respite Care for Oxfordshire’s Sick Youngsters) to promote their charity and collections by their representatives are frequently held at Oxford Ice Rink.
- The Stars have assisted at organised ice skating sessions for KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now), a local children’s charity.
