Mike Urquhart took on a similar role in the launch of the Chelmsford Chieftains, whilst John Lawless fitted in his couple of games for Oxford whilst waiting to take up the same role with Cardiff Devils. Ken Taggart (currently EIHA Chairman) was the boss of Oxford City Stars at this time. Robbie Morris went on to play for Cardiff Devils and has since gone into DJing and worked for Massive Attack. Yes, that is James Cameron, current Stars coach, who came down from Glasgow to join Oxford in the 1985/86 season.
