Recently one of the Stars took a call for Clipping, but what does it actually mean?

Well...it is essentially the act of throwing ones body, from any direction, across or below the knees of an opponent. It will result in a minor penalty unless the opposition player is injured in which case the player would be assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct.
